TY students are currently having a great time engaging in their GAA Coaching Course with Sligo GAAs Promotion Officer Darragh Cox. The TYs are learning the basic principles of coaching and promoting GAA in the community with some of them already making use of these skills within their coaching roles on work experience each week. Upon completion of the course each student will receive a certificate that will enable them to seek further coaching roles within their communities!
At Coláiste Iascaigh we have a proven record of academic achievement. We set high standards and ambitious goals in order to provide a top grade education where students perform well in state examinations.
Many progress to third level, past pupils are presently attending college in Queens University Belfast, University of Limerick, NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth as well as various Institutes of Technology around the country.
